Downton Abbey star Phyllis Logan has joined forces with Scottish arts-in-health charity Hearts & Minds as its 'Honorary Elderflower', acting as an ambassador for its Elderflowers Programme, which engages with people living with dementia across Scotland.

Logan, whose mother had cognitive impairment, and mother-in-law had Alzheimer's, said she was 'immediately inspired' by the organisation's 'compassionate and joyful approach in helping to improve the quality of life for dementia sufferers and their families'.
